About IDX Systems

IDX integration mean theme work good with third party IDX plugins and will not crash or stop these plugins functionality if someone will use it. Furthermore, the use of an IDX system is optional and it is not necessary for the functioning of the theme.

About user interface: It’s impossible to have the same UI for IDX plugins as Houzez default because IDX plugins providers use an iframe which not allow changing any HMTL or CSS code, also impossible to overwrite their HTML to make same GUI like Houzez default.

About searches. Theme default searches never work with IDX nor it is possible because theme searched search data from the WordPress database, it is not possible to search and get data from third party IDX provider database.

Using an IDX system is not free and required a monthly subscription with an IDX provider.

Favorite Properties

A visitor can add properties to his favorites collection. So he can visit his/her favorites properties later on.

Visitors do not need to login to use this feature. As if a user is not logged in then favorite properties information is stored in the visitor’s browser and if a user is logged in then information is stored in the database as user meta.

Front-end Profile Edit

RealHomes theme provides front-end profile edit functionality, which enables a user to edit his profile information without going to the WordPress admin side dashboard.

A real estate property is like a post in WordPress and You need to simply create users for your agents with an author role. You can know more about roles from https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities . So, You do not need to enable registration for the public and manually added users with author roles will be good enough to add properties using the WordPress dashboard. You can pass documentation’s add property URL to your agents for guidance in starting.

How to create RSS feed for properties ? and How to send its email to potential customers.
